About WCS
Fr. Predmore, S.J. is a Jesuit priest who became a painter and photographer
while serving in Amman, Jordan and has continued his work in Boston.
He opened a studio at 450 Harrison Avenue in Boston's South End in 2018 in the acclaimed SoWa
(South of Washington) district. He gives retreats, workshops, and conferences using Ignatian Spirituality
to teach people to pray by honoring the thoughts, perceptions, and emotions that swirl mostly unnoticed in one's subconscious world. Bringing those areas to prayer become fruitful and meaningful for a vibrant prayer life.
Art, meditation, contemplation, and use of the senses, helps a person pray. Prayer becomes an active relationship in which one's entire being is acknowledged and honored.
Fr. Predmore works at Boston College High School as the Chaplain for Ignatian Ministries where he forms parents, faculty and staff, and alumni in Ignatian Spirituality.
